Tony has encompassed a range of strategic, tactical, and operational management accountabilities which has given him the opportunity to influence and impact the overall direction of an organisation whilst ensuring efficient and effective use of resources, budgets, and workforce productivity to maximise outcomes.

As a strong community minded person, Tony's belief is that those of us who choose to live and work in the Pilbara should not be disadvantaged, and should be afforded the same services and luxuries that those in other regions receive, especially as the Pilbara is the backbone of not only the West Australian economy, but the Australian economy.

DEBBIE JOHNSON
Contract and Program Manager
Debbie grew up in a rural and regional area in Queensland on a dairy and beef farm and has lived in and travelled Australia, Europe and some parts of Asia, working and learning languages as she went.

Debbie has been living and working in the Pilbara since mid-2012 and sees the Pilbara as home. She has worked in the Childcare, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary settings as well as in case management for many CaLD clients, office administration, tourism and hospitality and running small businesses.

Debbie has over 15 years experience in the Training and Assessing arena which has allowed her to work closely with low socio economic, disadvantaged, disengaged, youth and CaLD people. With that in mind, she is often volunteering her time to various Not-for-Profit community organisations and their associated events. Debbie believes that no person should be disadvantaged just because they live in a remote, regional or low socio economic area. Her philosophy is "A place is the memories you make and how you make it".

Debbie manages the West Pilbara Communities for Children Initiative, a long-running program delivering positive outcomes for Pilbara kids through local community partners.
